What G HUB actually does

G HUB is the desktop control app for Logitech G gaming gear. It assigns buttons and G keys, tunes HERO sensor DPI, builds LIGHTSYNC effects, routes audio in Mixline, and loads a per-game profile the moment a title launches.

Mixline makes audio routing and mixing for a stream less painful. Headset users can also reach EQ and spatial options such as DTS Headphone:X where the hardware supports it. Older Astro generations may still rely on Astro Command Center.

Is Logitech G HUB free?

Does it work on Windows 11?

Why do settings reset after sleep or reboot?

Logitech support notes that settings.db and settings.backup under AppData must allow write access. A read-only attribute can drop session changes after sleep.

Is it safe if antivirus flags the installer?

Third party scanners sometimes quarantine lghub_agent.exe or block updater traffic. Verify the hash first, then allowlist the LGHUB folder if your scanner mislabels signed Logitech files. See Trust and security.
